Anawar Hlwam Co., Ltd. Is a limited company form of 100% Myanmar in 1987 and started the business by catching shrimp and fish at along the costal of Catching Ground in Myanmar Water.
With a view to promote the seafood business by quality products as well as focusing on the processing of shrimps in Myanmar that so endowed with setting up a new 1,000 MT of Cold Storage and Processing Plant,300 MT Ice Making Factory and Fish/Prawn Sales Jetty which can be berthed (3) vessels at the same time on the river side of Hlaing River at Hlaing Thayar Industrial Zone, Yangon, Myanmar.
According to our statistical data, the catching raw material landing capacity is approximately 6,000 MT of Fish (70% of Ribbon Fish,20% of Yellow Croaker, Pomfret, Cuttle Fish and Squid & the rest is the other species) and 2,400 MT of Shrimp (50% of Pink,30% of Sea Tiger/Flower and the rest is the other species) per year at our catching ground by our own vessels.
The overall consumption of fish/prawn products is still very high. Therefore,50 % of total catching raw material is under processing at our processing plant and then exported to International Market. The rest 50% of raw material is sold out to other export packers at our Jetty by Auction System.
Approximately 1,000 MT/year of frozen shrimp could be able to export to Japan, Korea, European Countries, Middle East Countries, Thailand & Singapore. And we can also export about 4,000 MT/year of frozen Sea/Fresh fish to China, Malaysia, Korea, Singapore and other countries. Beside this, we are also exporting the chilled type of fish to Bangladesh.
The new project is endowed at Ma-Eu-Pin Arrawaddy Division for Fish Farming in 2004. Now, the land acre is about Hectare 500 and approximately 450 MT of high quality fresh water fish, Rohu, monthly can be produced breeding by our own farms. The available sizes are 1000-2000 gm/pcs,2000/3000 gm/pcs & 3000 gm up. So we can provide very freshness fresh water fish at reasonable price to export to Bangladesh, Middle East Countries, UK, India as our major market according to our customers' requirement, quality and quantity throughout the whole year.
